The Wire

Hailey Lanari, Staff Writer

Hailey Lanari is a sophomore at Monroe-Woodbury High School. This is her first year writing for The Wire News. As an honors student, much of her time is taken up by school and other commitments. Outside of school, she is an avid reader and writer of anything from short stories to essays. She has never been able to pick a favorite book, having read too many, but loves almost any genre. Hailey also enjoys makeup and often dyes her hair bright colors. She does her best to keep up with current events and learn as much as she can about global issues. Her brother, sister, and friends are very important to her and she spends much of her time with them. Any quiet moment she has is disturbed by her dramatic Cavalier puppy, Murray.
