The Wire

Peter Phelan is a sophomore at Monroe-Woodbury High School. He has been in the Wire News since his freshman year. His favorite subject in school is math, and algebra 2 is his current favorite class. He has been in Mock Trial since freshman year, and he is both excited and terrified to be a co-president next year. Outside of school, he enjoys playing soccer, running around his neighborhood, and playing competitive Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. He enjoys listening to hip-hop, mainly artists such as Danny Brown, Clipping, Jpegmafia, Brockhampton, Death Grips, A Tribe Called Quest, Slowthai, MF DOOM, and Kendrick Lamar. He enjoys politics and finds it interesting to discuss, but he acknowledges the fact that he really doesn’t know much about it. He currently really enjoys school, and by proxy, the majority of his life. Most of all, he is excited to see where his life will take him, and hopes the way there isn’t too bad.
