The Wire

Peter Phelan is a junior at Monroe-Woodbury High School. This is his second year at The Wire News. At the high school he is Vice President of Mock Trial and plays cello for the Symphonic Orchestra. He enjoys practicing soccer in his backyard and jogging around his neighborhood. Peter enjoys watching movies and his favorite tv shows like Mr. Robot and Breaking Bad. He also enjoys listening to music, primarily alternative hip hop. He competes in Super Smash Bros. tournaments, and enjoys talking to his friends online while playing. Peter hopes to major in journalism at Northwestern and cover social issues he feels are overlooked. He took the SAT about a week ago, and hopes he never has to do practice on Khan Academy again.
