Peter Phelan, Lead Writer

Peter Phelan is a senior at Monroe-Woodbury and a lead writer for The Wire News. In school, his favorite subjects are math and English, and in addition to Newspaper, he participates in Mock Trial as Co-President. Outside of school, he enjoys talking with friends, taking walks through the woods in his backyard, and playing soccer. He watches a lot of TV, with Better Call Saul and Bojack Horseman as his personal favorite shows. At home, he has a bearded dragon named Rey as a pet. After high school, Peter wants to attend college out of state to major in business, before going into Law School to become an attorney. Once he has a stable job, he wants to try his hand at a variety of hobbies, including filmmaking and creative writing.
