Yena Lee, Editor-in-Chief

Yena Lee is the Editor-in-Chief of The Wire, and this is her last year working with the student newspaper. She joined as a sophomore with an interest in photojournalism, and discovered a passion in editing and leading the club. After graduation, she plans to major in biology and follow pre-med track in college. In addition to being an honor student, she holds leader positions in National Spanish Honor Society, Interact, yearbook, and wind ensemble, and is involved in National Honor Society, National Art Honor Society, and math team. As a devoted musician, she participated in New York All-State music festival twice, this year as the first flute in Symphony Orchestra. She also was accepted to play in the NAfME All-Eastern Band. In her free time, she likes to play badminton with her younger brother and read books with him.
