The Wire

Jaxon Torres, Staff Writer

Jaxon Torres is a junior at Monroe-Woodbury High School, who is new to the school district. This is their first year working for The Wire News, however they are very passionate about their new position. They are a new writer for the Wire, and they are extremely social. They had one previous work published into a literary magazine at their previous school. At age eleven, they were chosen to deliver an independently written speech at an event for the One To World organization, connected to their school through an afterschool program. They are an avid researcher, and love to learn about new topics whenever given the chance. Pre and Post 2020, they maintained a 90-95% average, and several times had the highest GPA in their grade.  In their free time, Jax enjoys playing minecraft, drawing, collecting things, and exploring new music. They also enjoy assisting their peers, especially when it comes to general advice or academic matters, so do feel free to approach them for friendship or in-school matters that you feel need to be addressed in an article.
