Ava Hayes is in 9th grade and joined The Wire to become a better writer for her Journalism class. Ava enjoys writing about current and important topics affecting her and her fellow peers and she feels this is the perfect platform to do so. Besides writing, Ava  also enjoys playing softball and hanging out with  friends. Ava plays softball for the school and for a travel team.
