“Masked, Threaded, Cut.” is an upcoming project in 2025 written in verse by Traegan Soto; brought to life with artwork by Shyla Meighan. Following the story of the grief-stricken Quill: a tortured poet writing his experiences as best he can while the world around him falls apart at the seams. Join him as he ventures far from home; Too far. Desperately trying to pull the threads back together. And finding things that were never meant to be. Scouring the Eternal Garden for some form of answer… some form of solace.
But remain wary.
This tale is intended to be a harrowing one.
Not everything will have a happy ending.
Not everything may be understood until the time is right.
Grim and grave as things may seem,
There may be a light at the edge of the woods.
No matter how far,
No matter how faint.
Whether the warm glow of a candle,
Pouring comfort through the window of a home.
Or whether a raging wildfire,
Gorging itself and destroying everything in its wake.
It waits nonetheless.
Only for those who go out
And seek it.
Such is this tale.
Such is life.
Note: This story depicts murder, grief over the loss of loved ones, psychosis, insanity, hallucinations, and mentions of / allusion to suicide as well as moments of heavily written gore. If any of the aforementioned things are upsetting or triggering to you I highly advise that you don’t read the story for yourself…
(This is simply a generalization of things that happen in the story. Content warnings will be placed at the beginning of each chapter as well.)
Always remember.
Though you may think it so,
You are not alone.
You never have been,
And you never will be.
Such is life.
